We cook from rescued fruit and vegetables
The project “We don't waste, we cook” is a social enterprise that gives work to people disadvantaged in the labour market and turns rescued ingredients into honest meals.
Project goals
What we want to achieve
The project has concrete goals against which progress can be measured as we go.
Work for the socially excluded
Increase employment of people at risk of social exclusion – create 5 new jobs within 4 months of the project starting.
Creating a community space
At least twice a month we hold cooking courses or talks on fighting food waste. We also lend the space to other partner organisations.
Up to 140 meals a day within 2 years
Cook 140 meals a day for the canteen or delivery, sell an average of 200 catering portions a month and produce 220 preserved products a month.
