Who we help
We give food to non-profit organisations caring for people in need, or to individuals on the recommendation of the labour office, the social department or child protection services.
This is not one single group of people. You can fall into hardship after an illness, a divorce, the loss of a job or on leaving a children's home – and each time the help looks a little different. That is why we do not hand food out indiscriminately, but through organisations that know their clients.

How to ask for help
Have you found yourself in hardship or in crisis and need food assistance? Bring an identity card for your first visit. You will receive a parcel and our staff will explain what recommendation you will need in order to receive food regularly.
You do not need to prove anything in advance or make an appointment. Come to a distribution point during its opening hours – our staff will go through what help you are entitled to and what to arrange so that food can come regularly. If you are not sure where to go, call us and we will advise you.
